Words used to generate the works:
«restoration», «community», «europe», «wound», «luguber», «wahrheit», «memento mori», «augury», «destruction», «signs», «tracks», «bridge», «industrial», «catastrophe», «destruction», «architecture», «radiator», «rural», «urban» and many more
Inner workings:
All words were fed into Google's search engine, the resulting quotes and references were stored in a database to be used as the source of the artworks.
Intentionally using simple, public accessible, carefully selected one-word searches and algorithmically combining the source input, the series generates a self-repeating flow of moving typographical ornamented textual elements (words), on (semi) static images.
Whether because of its sensory effects or because of its intrinsic hermetics, these works tend to manifest a 'new, hitherto hidden', meaning not contained in the, 'rather mundane', original Google results.
